Rich-Woods is steeped in family and history. The building they are in at 27 South 12th Street in Fort Dodge, Iowa was built in the late 1940s by owner Rich Seltz’s grandfather, Elmer Kircher. Rich’s business has been in the building since 1998.
On the other end of the building, Rich’s wife, Jo Seltz’s Tillies Quilts shop has been bustling there as of 2011.
Speaking of family, Rich and Jo’s father, Bruce Pingel, started making cabinets together 30 years ago in Bruce’s home, prior to Rich starting the current woodworking business.
30 years is a long time to be living his passion of woodworking, and he would love to pass his passion on to you.
